TOCC BRINGS TOGETHER LOCAL LEADERS TO EXPLORE AI, PUBLIC POLICY, AND COMMUNITY-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS FOR MODERN TOWNSHIP GOVERNMENT


(Chicago, IL) The Township Officials of Cook County (TOCC) successfully brought together township supervisors, trustees, clerks, assessors, highway commissioners, administrators, and public servants from across Cook County for its Annual Conference at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. Hosted by TOCC President Calvin Jordan, the conference served as a premier gathering for local government leaders to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative solutions to the evolving challenges facing township government.


The conference featured an engaging lineup of legislative discussions, educational breakout sessions, and networking opportunities designed to equip township officials with practical strategies to better serve their communities. Local leaders had an opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversations surrounding township governance, mental health and wellness, veterans' services, homelessness, artificial intelligence, social media engagement, new legislation impacting local government, and other timely issues affecting residents throughout Cook County.


Under President Jordan's leadership, officials representing townships from every corner of Cook County gathered with a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and public service. The conference reinforced TOCC's longstanding mission of providing education, advocacy, and professional development opportunities that strengthen township government while fostering meaningful partnerships among elected officials and staff.
